Anders Larsson
Chairman of the Board

After finishing his Maters of Science in Mechanical Engineering in KTH (The Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm in 1987, he immediately joined Electrolux in the same year. Consequently, his career within the Electrolux Group has led him to different parts of the world, which finally inspired him to start Globalwater (GLOW AB) in Västerås, Sweden in 2003. Länsförsäkringar Bergslagen's history as a reputable bank and insurance company goes way back to 1842 when it was first founded as an insurance company.


Mikael Sundquist

CEO of Länsförsäkringar Bergslagen, Mikael Sundquist has a wide experience in the insurance and banking industry. He is 45 years old and has worked for the company for the past 20 years and as Head of Marketing during the last 10 years.



Svante Runnquist

Mr. Runnquist has an extensive industrial experience among which internationally includes 25 years in the Volvo Group, and finally as CEO for Volvo Germany GmbH in 1991 to 1995. He was CEO of the VSM Group (former Husqvarna Sewing Machine) from 1997 to 2005. During his eight years as CEO, he has developed the company with energy and enthusiasm. In fact, under his leadership the group sales have increased from 954 MSEK in 1997 to 2165 MSEK in 2005 with commensurate profitability*.

Mr. Runnquist, who is actively involved in several business investments, is also active in the management of GLOW AB. Other commitments are as: Director and part-owner of GLOW AB, Systeam AB, Science Park Jönköping and ELFA AB.

Alexa Larsson

After two years at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Alexa Larsson left for Switzerland in 1991. She studied German and French at the Bénédict International School in Zurich. Additionally, she finished a three-year business course at the same institution after which she joined the Embassy of Switzerland Manila in 1996 as Social Secretary to the Swiss Ambassador. She worked there until the family moved to Switzerland in 2000. She is married to Anders Larsson and they have been living in Sweden with their two children since 2003. She joined the company in January 2007.
